Export Duplicate Files Using Clone Files Checker and Free Space

The advent of super fast and super cheap Internet has meant the average user is now spending more and more time browsing it and can easily download an unlimited number of songs, movies, games, software programs and what not without much fuss.

This scenario presents a win-win situation for users who have this habit of always keeping their data neatly organized.

But for users who just randomly download data to their laptop and then later onwards forget the file’s location, saving up that file again from the Internet is a much easier and convenient option. And now take this occurrence at a much more frequently occurring level and the amount of hard disk space wasted will easily run into tens of GBs (at least).

Another reason why duplicate files present a hazardous scenario is the increasing popularity of Solid State Drives (SSDs). Although these drives perform much better in all aspects than the conventional HDDs, they are much more expensive as well. This means that most users can’t afford to pay for a SSD that can store up a lot of data and hence, they must be very diligent in saving up data and organizing it neatly so as to do away with any chances of duplication of data.

Meet Clone Files Checker

Clone Files Checker allows users to remove duplicate files of all sorts from their computer at the stroke of few clicks. This software isn’t heavy neither on the pocket nor on the computer’s resources. And it doesn’t require the user to be equipped with any kind of high-fi computer knowledge. The user simply selects the target folder or hard drive partition to scan for duplicates and then selects the file types that have to be looked out for in the scan. Once the green light is given to Clone Files Checker, it unleashes a thorough and powerful scan that guarantees a very high degree of accurate results that are hard to challenge. And even better is the fact that the user can then either simply sweep clean the duplicates off the hard drive or opt to move them to a specific folder, lest they might be needed in the future.

Benefits of a Duplicate Scan

The benefits are simple and straightforward yet they are mighty in their importance. This scan helps the user to make the most of their HDD as they will rid it of any duplicates. This helps simply either do away with any probability or drastically cut down on any expenses the user might have to incur on purchasing a new HDD or subscribe to a cloud-based solution. This also means there is a lot less clutter around and the user can now organize the data with much greater ease than before.

Export List of Duplicate Files

The CFC tool also allows the users to make a list of all duplicate files that were detected during the scan and save it in the Comma Separated Values (CSV) format. This basically helps keep a track of the duplicates unearthed during that scan for which the file was created, and can prove helpful in restoring the original file from the backup, in case the user deletes it mistakenly.

How to Export Duplicate Files list

  1. Right-click the target drive and select Scan with CloneFilesChecker from the context menu.
