Easy Installation
- Visit the official Microsoft Photos page.
- Click on Get the App button.
- It’ll load your pre-installed Windows Store metro app. Windows Store will redirect you to the in-app Microsoft Photos installation page. Install it on your computer.
Note: Windows Store metro app will not start the installation if the Metered Connection is activated on your current Wi-Fi connection. For more information about disabling the Metered Connection, visit the Microsoft Support Center.

Scanning for Duplicates
- Download, install and run Clone Files Checker.
- Use the list box on the left corner of the main window to add folders containing your photos, images and wallpapers.
- Start the scan after selecting Custom > Images.
- Once the scan is over, choose Quick-Fix to perform a universal action on all duplicates, or Review & Fix to list out results into a list box and take a different for different groups of duplicates.
Restoring Deleted Duplicates
- Click the History tab in Clone Files Checker User Interface.
- Select a backup from the list box on the left.
- Click Restore.
- Select the files you want to restore, click Restore and lastly specify a destination folder.
