Do you own a Samsung smartphone? As a Samsung Galaxy customer, you got a free storage of 5 GB on Samsung Cloud.  You can use this storage to store your contacts, photos, music, apps, notes, calendar, messenger chats, and much more. It’s an all-in-one platform to sync, backup and restore content on your device with ease.

How does Samsung Cloud work?

Samsung Cloud protects your data against device theft and system malfunction. Even if your phone is lost, stolen or broken, your data should be absolutely intact. You don’t need access to your device to recover the data. In contrast to other data transfers, you don’t have to connect your device to the PC using a USB cable. The only things that you need are an Internet connection and access to your login credentials. You can sign in to your Galaxy account from just another device and restore your data. The wireless restore process seamlessly works “over-the-cloud”. Just after recovering your data, you can pick up right where you left off your device. It’s just that simple.

Samsung Cloud was previously accessible only through a smartphone and tablet. Now, you can access your cloud files from a computer as well. Logging in from a browser requires you to confirm your identity by entering the One Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number/ registered email. This security-measure is intended to protect your personal information.
