How to Fix iTunes Error 3194 in Windows

If you’re frustrated because of constant drop outs in your Wi-Fi Internet connection, follow the instructions laid down in this tutorial.

Change Power Options

Change settings related to the power plans. Set Balanced power plan, and make sure that your wireless adapter settings are properly configured as shown below:
For Windows 8.1/ 8:

1. Press the Windows Key + X.

2. Click the Search option.

3. The Start Screen will open.

4. Type “Power Options” in the Search Box.

5. Click the Settings icon.

6. Open it from the Search Results page.

7. Select the “Balanced” option.

8. Click “Change plan settings” link.

9. Click “Change advanced power settings” link.

10. Power Options dialog will appear.

11. Scroll down.

12. Expand Wireless Adapter Settings” node, and then “Power saving mode” node.

13. Set On Battery= Maximum Performance.

14. Set Plugged in= Maximum performance.

15. Click Apply, and then OK.

16. Restart your computer.

For Earlier Versions of Windows:

1. Click the Start button.

2. Type “Power options” in the Search Box.

3. Press ENTER key of your keyboard.

4. Refer Steps # 7-16 from Windows 8.1/ 8 user’s paragraph.

Disable and Reconnect your Adapter

Temporarily disable your router adapter through the Control Panel. Disconnect it, connect it again and enable the router through the same screen. WiFi dropping out in Windows will not occur again.
For Windows 8.1/ 8:

1. Press Windows Key + X.

2. Click Control Panel.

3. Click Network and Internet | Network and Sharing Center.

4. Click the adapter name displayed in front of Connections label. For example: Local Area Connection 1

5. Click Disable button. Do not close the dialog.

6. Disconnect your router.

7. Re-plug your router.

8. Wait 15-20 seconds.

9. In the dialog discussed in Step # 5, click Enable button.

For Earlier Versions of Windows:

1. Click the Start button.

2. Type “Control Panel” in the Search Box.

3. Press ENTER.

4. Refer Steps # 3-9 from Windows 8.1/ 8 user’s paragraph.

Check Wi-Fi Range/ Signals

WiFi dropping out in Windows due to low signals/ range. Check the range/ signals, and try changing the position of your router. Try establishing a connection in a different room or location.
Connect to a Different PC

Connect your WiFi Internet to a different PC. Check if the problem still exists. There could be problem with your PC’s settings and configurations.
