The OneDrive app looks sleek and stylish as you’d expect. The design resembles that of Windows 10 and allows users to easily access the files they want. In a recent update, OneDrive added an additional tab bar that allows users to easily navigate the app and adds a switcher bar which makes switching across the Files, Photos, Recent, Shared and Me sections a matter of great ease.
As far as functionality is concerned, it is easy to use and intuitive. The image viewer lets you easily edit, save, share or download files as well as allowing users to update files directly from their phone.
Performance & Features
As far as performance is concerned, OneDrive Android app mirrors the performance of its peers for iOS and Windows devices. It is extremely smooth and keeps the files updated and synced across all your devices without causing any issues whatsoever.
Uploading and downloading files is simple and sophisticated at the same time, making this a convenient app for anyone who wants to have easy access to all their files. The only downside of using the OneDrive Android app is that unlike the Windows version it doesn’t let you view or edit Microsoft documents and files. Previously, you could only protect your OneDrive app using only a pin code which isn’t the safest method to keep your data safe. In the latest update, Microsoft has added the fingerprint support to the app adding another layer of security to keep your data safe.
As far as duplicate files are concerned, make sure that your desktop files and mobile files are in sync with each other. This should ensure that the odds of any duplication are at their minimum, if not nil altogether.
